Life on the hill

Sleeping Giant has its own little way of life and is most certainly fun and exciting environment to work.  It’s a place where families and friends have gathered for generations now.  Winter here is most definitely a lifestyle choice.  Folks who thrive here embrace the seasons and make the most of winter. It’s a place where people connect and foster community either while cutting fresh tracks on a pow day or warming up by the fire after several runs. We have several employees that come back year after year to serve their families and greater community in a place that certainly has its charm. We are still that groovy little ski hill that certainly embraces what we do to provide the public with a safe, fun winter experience.

Most employees wear many hats.  It is the general practice that everyone should help everyone.  I’ve seen patrollers help with ski school and ski school help as lift operators.  It takes a team and folks do well here if they are self -motivated, responsible and team players.
