After going through a challenging few months and a lot of internal debate about what our priorities should be this year, we are pleased to announce that we have begun work to launch the 22/23 Winter Season at Sleeping Giant.

We plan to start pre-season pass sales on October 1 and are targeting an opening date of the first weekend of December (fingers crossed the snow cooperates).

We are also excited to announce the appointment of Travis Gass as General Manager, and Elizabeth Wells as Lodge Manager this year.

Travis formerly served as Head of Ski Patrol and brings a wealth of medical and outdoor experience to the role.

Elizabeth is one of SG’s longest serving employees and her vast experience at SG and accounting background bring continuity, and a level of organization that will greatly serve the mountain.

We are very thankful and excited to have them leading the effort this year.

We expect to launch all the activities and amenities that you know and love including, night skiing, tubing, and the snow bar.  New additions this year will include the expansion of our fleet of SnoGo bikes (https://sno-go.us) that we believe will help novices get out on the mountain and let them enjoy the slopes.

We will also be launching our new ride-share feature, Giant Ride, on the Sleeping Giant app (Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sleeping-giant-ski-area/id1543064887: Goolge Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sleepinggiant&hl=en_US&gl=US)   to help our community get to the mountain (note this feature and app were developed by our great design team in Ukraine)

Additionally, we plan to have some new twists on the tubing runs, terrain park and yurt that will maintain Sleeping Giant’s position as the grooviest mountain in Wyoming.

We are looking to hire maintenance staff, lodge staff, instructors and liftees.  Those interested should send emails with resumes to GM@skisg.com.
