Sleeping Giant Season Pass Winners
10/5/21
Cody, WY 82414, USA
Dear Friends of Sleeping Giant,
As we get ready to launch preseason pass sales on Monday October 11, we wanted to take a minute to thank some of our great guests from last season. As we announced last year, we planned to award several season passes to those visitors that we thought went the extra mile to show their love for Sleeping Giant and supported us in our first season.
Here are this year’s award categories and winners:
Best Tailgater 20/21: Richard Davis
Rich and his boys were regular guests to the mountain last season, and their parking lot tailgate set ups made us proud. The Davis’ were by far our most regular and active tailgaters and we wanted to thank Rich for being a leader in building a welcoming community atmosphere at the mountain. Additionally Rich’s efforts to make sure the parking lot was cleaned up at the end of the day were very much appreciated. Parking lot tailgates are one of the things that make small ski areas like Sleeping Giant special. We are proud to award Rich a season pass for the 21/22 season and look forward to seeing him on the slopes and in the parking lot again this season.
Most Active Social Media Presence 20/21: Maddox Growney
Sleeping Giant is Park County’s hometown ski area and no one took more pride in his local mountain than Maddox. Maddox was by far the most active social media influencer Sleeping Giant had last season, and his posts explored the mountain and showed how much fun a guy could have outside crushing powder and enjoying nature. If you haven’t seen any of Maddox’s videos from SG be sure to check them out on his facebook page, they are incredible. Sleeping Giant is lucky to have a social media ambassador like Maddox Growney, his positive attitude, and love of life come through in everything he does and we are extremely proud to have him in the SG family and to award him a season pass for the 21/22 season.
Most Family Days on the Mountain 20/21: Todd & Brandy Shepard
No family spent more time at Sleeping Giant last year than the Shepards, Todd and Brandy were with us almost every weekend throughout the season and were always ready to lend a hand around the mountain on busy days. For their commitment to SG last season we are happy to offer Todd and Brandy season passes for the 20/21 ski season and look forward to spending weekends with you again this season.
We want to ask all this year’s pass winners to reach out to Sleeping Giant at gm@skisg.com to claim your season passes and arrange for their pick up.
We plan to launch more pass awards for this ski season so look for announcements on facebook and rest assured we will be watching 😊
As a little reminder please note Sleeping Giant Season passes are set to go on sale on OCTOBER 11. They can be purchased on our website at www.Skisg.com, on the Sleeping Giant APP (available in the app store and via google play) or at Sunlight Sports in downtown Cody. Printed passes can also be available for pick up at Sunlight Sports or on the mountain at the start of the season.
This year’s season pass offers an incredible partnership deals which include multiple days of free skiing around Wyoming, Colorado and Idaho. Buying a SG season pass is a great way to support your hometown mountain and get to ski at most resorts in Wyoming for free.
This year will see expanded lighting for night skiing on Fridays and
Saturdays, additional tubing runs, SnoGo ski bike rentals and Wyoming’s best outdoor bar and music scene, with live music every Saturday.
We are planning to launch winter season 21/22 on Saturday December 4 (snow permitting) and operate on Friday- Sunday this season.
Think Snow! And we looking forward to seeing you at Sleeping Giant.
